Rare Condition Causes Woman to Produce 3x More Breastmilk

California-based blogger Tabitha Frost suffers from a rare condition called hyperlactation syndrome, which makes her produce three times more breast milk than the average woman.
Hyperlactation is caused by hormonal imbalances, and in some cases, can be a sign of a brain tumor. Some women, however, simply have highly sensitive ducts, which means the breasts are easily stimulated to produce milk.
Tabitha Frost produces so much breast milk that she has donated nearly 1,000 pints (around 470 liters) to feed other babies. For Frost, pumping milk has become a full-time job.
It is important to understand that hyperlactation is a serious condition that requires immediate medical attention.
